Job summary

Provide support in all marketing, communication and client relations tactics. This role requires strong content management and editing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Flexibility and a sense of humor are essential.

Summary of essential job functions/responsibilities

  • Assist with the writing, editing and production of a variety of marketing communications projects including print collateral, web content, social media, and email campaigns
  • Support marketing day-to-day operations including media campaigns and events
  • Assist with development of podcasts and videos
  • Coordinate the overall proposal process, including managing proposal schedules, and content development assignments
  • Plan and track marketing efforts related to events and conferences
  • Maintain production materials and office supplies for the Marketing Department
  • Perform basic graphic design and production of print materials

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications plus 2 years marketing experience, or combination of experience and education. Experience in the insurance industry a plus
  • Excellent grammar, editing and content organization skills, with understanding of AP Style preferred
  • Strong business, technical and/or marketing writing skills and experience
  • Obsessive attention to details and quality control, especially in the areas of editing/proofreading, document formatting, maintenance of brand identity and message integrity, content management, digital file management and record-keeping
  • Knowledge of HTML presentation preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience in the application of visual design principles
  • Print and web production experience preferred
  • Highly organized, self-directed, results-oriented initiative-taker with an ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently and effectively to deliver quality work products
